  Welcome to my blog and into my life.

This is something that I feel I'm being called by God to do. I'm not sure of the purpose but I do hope that it brings some kind of joy to all those who read it.

I'm going to be blogging about everything from my every day adventures in which I always seem to encounter some kind of crazy, my family who keeps me laughing but keeps my feet on the ground, my friends which whom I am always learning something new from, sharing recipes and talking about my faith.
I am a wife and mom living amid the cornfields of Iowa along the Mississippi River and I do feel truly blessed with the life that I have. My life is crazy but through it all I find Gods everlasting grace carrying me on.

My husband Lamar and I have been married for 12 years, which seems a lot longer some days, and we brought together a family of Matthew 27, Megan 21 and Katherine 16. In our house, we have a 9 year old Australian collie named Chloe who is my baby and I spoil, a frog named Lady GaGa and a fish named Jeremy.
I stay involved in Women's ministry at our church, watch 2 1/2 year old sweet Maggie who always keeps me running, support the Davenport Marching Blue devils, help out in the community and try to listen to where God is leading me next in life.

Remember that Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways chocolate bar in one hand, Starbucks in the other, body thoroughly used up. Totally worn out and screaming "Woo Hoo! What a ride!"
